This website (hereinafter referred to as the Website) is dedicated to the activities of the Luigi Giussani Study Centre and is managed by the Fraternity of Communion and Liberation, based in Milan, Via Giuseppe De Notaris, 50 (hereinafter referred to as the Fraternity). By accessing this Website and viewing the material contained in its web pages, the user accepts the following conditions and also accepts that, for all matters arising from or relating to the content and use of this Website, Italian law shall apply.

2. CONDITIONS OF USE

Access to the contents of the Website is subject to the following conditions.

  • The Website offers two types of content and services. Some services require only registration on the Website in order to be used. Others are reserved for users who are admitted to the fellowship of the Luigi Giussani Study Centre.
  • Registration on the Website only requires users to provide their first name, last name and email address. Admission to the fellowship is subject to the submission of an application and its acceptance, subject to approval by the Study Centre.
  • The registration and fellowship application forms must be completed by the user in a complete and truthful manner.
  • Each User may only register once. Registration implies that all information, documents and links may only be used for personal use and scientific research purposes, provided that they do not compete with the economic use of the material on the Site and that the source from which they are taken is indicated.
  • Registration on the Website or submission of an application for admission to the fellowship implies unconditional acceptance of all the provisions contained in these Legal Notes.
  • The Fraternity reserves the right to modify the contents of the Website at any time.
  • The Fraternity cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracy or incorrectness in the data communicated therein.

3. COPYRIGHT

All material made available to the User on the Website, including texts, photographs, software, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP codes, is protected by copyright and related rights legislation.

All intellectual property rights and economic rights to the database, the material on the Website (photographs, texts, etc.) and the content of the web pages are reserved.

No changes to the texts or photographs are permitted.

The Fraternity holds the copyright on all texts by Don Luigi Giussani, on the database, and on the texts and photographs contained on the Website.

Printing, downloading, consulting and accessing the published material made available to the User is permitted solely for private purposes. Any reproduction, even partial, quotation, summary and/or communication to the public other than for private use, study or personal information is therefore prohibited. Any use for direct and/or indirect commercial purposes is prohibited in all cases.

With regard to the complete texts by Don Luigi Giussani, please note that it may also be necessary to obtain authorisation from the publisher.

The possibility of accessing websites managed by third parties through hypertext links (‘Links’) from this Website does not imply any sharing or approval of the related content by the Fraternity. Such websites accessible through links are not subject to the control of the Fraternity, which therefore assumes no responsibility for their content or any changes or updates thereto, nor for any links contained therein. Access to these sites and their content shall be governed by the terms of use of the respective sites.

6. PRIVACY POLICY

Pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/ 679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, we inform you that the processing of personal data voluntarily provided by the User at the time of registration or submission of the application for admission to the fellowship is aimed at ensuring registration for the use of the services offered by the Site or evaluating the candidate’s application for admission and, if approved, executing it.

The data may only be disclosed to persons authorised by the Data Controller, Data Processors and persons acting under the authority of the Data Controller, for the performance of activities instrumental to the processing described above.

The data will not be disclosed to other third parties or disseminated.

The data will be processed and stored for as long as the Data Controller continues to provide the services offered by the Website or until the User concerned notifies that they wish to cancel their registration on the Website or withdraw from the fellowship.

7. EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION

Qualsiasi controversia che dovesse insorgere fra la Fraternità e uno o più Utenti sarà devoluta in via esclusiva al Foro di Milano.
